Marketing Manager, Investment Management
The
Investment Management (IM) Marketing Manager is responsible for overseeing the Institutional
Marketing RFP, Data-base and other IM collateral development and production.
The individual will manage a team of 3-6 people that support this effort.
This individual must collaborate closely with our institutional distribution
teams, investment areas, compliance and operations, and senior leadership to
produce collateral that meets the needs of all constituencies.
Primary
responsibilities:
·
Oversee dedicated resource responsible
for the RFP process and multiple people in our desktop publishing role.
·
Provide coaching, guidance
and timely and constructive feedback to team members.
·
Communicate key priorities and monitor
their progress against goals.
·
RFP
and Data Management Oversight:
o
Prioritize and insure RFP/RFI deadlines and requirements are met.
o
Review
RFPs; working closely with other internal teams to ensure answers are complete,
accurate and reviewed for compliance.
o
Oversee
that performance and fund data are reported to key consultant and industry
databases.

Oversee the collateral suite supporting
sales and relationship management. Analyze current and proposed marketing
materials and other communications to ensure consistency with key
messaging.
·
The
person will oversee the production of collateral on a monthly and quarterly
basis and ensure that it is completed in the time frame necessary for our
distribution teams.
·
Develop and support the internal and
external circulation strategy for flagship quarterly publications and thought
leadership pieces.
Secondary
responsibilities:
·
Own the communication of the IM message
internally.
·
Ensure marketing materials are in
compliance with key legal and regulatory rules governing the LOB.
·
Maintain Marketing Library
including competitor performance database and develop competitive intelligence
files (competitor books, communications, reports, etc.).
·
The individual will collaborate with the
Head of Firm Wide Corporate Marketing to support our PR effort, marketing
strategy development and benchmarking.
Qualifications:
·
Ability to manage operational aspects of the
Marketing organization.
·
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent
work experience.
·
Minimum of 5 years of experience in
marketing at an Investment Management firm and 8+ years professional
experience, preferred.
- Broad understanding of the financial markets and
products.
·
Excellent written skills sufficient for client
facing materials.
·
Ability to drive strategic initiatives and
execute with limited supervision.
·
Highly effective service and relationship
management skills and the ability to influence and collaborate with all levels
of the organization.
·
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
·
Ability to work effectively in a team
environment.
·
Highly flexible with the ability to
think outside the box and respond quickly to changing business needs.
·
CFA, Series 7, Series 24 a plus.
