What's Mime is Yours.

Daily musing.  I have an ongoing internal debate: Does anyone care about mimes anymore?  I mean, do they have a legitimate purpose in this day and age?  Or is it simply a dying art?  Personally, I'm leaning toward the latter but am interested hearing in your opinion on this very serious matter. Coincidentally, Gary Larson hilariously posed a similar question at one point.  "If a tree falls in the forest and no one is around, and hits a mime, does anyone care?"  Far Side Cartoon.
