Top 10 Reasons I Prefer New York City to Mexico City

1. I speak the language

2. Can get a taxi without fear of being kidnapped

3. I don't have to pay for toilette paper in public restrooms

4. I can find my way around (usually)

5. I speak the language

6.  My iPhone works here

7.  Pandora works here

8.  Traffic isn't nearly as bad in NYC

9.  Cabbies drop you off at the correct airport terminal (much unlike in Mexico City)

10.  I speak the language






Not that I didn't enjoy Mexico City.  I DID.  I just prefer Manhattan.  To each their own.
