What Would Jesus Do on Easter Sunday? A Simple Request: Occupy Your Heart.

Magic Eightball Says: love not fading away cannot be confirmed or denied at this time.      Please try back again later.

A Simple Request: Occupy Your Heart.  So our love will not fade away.

Just like Jerry's (his love is bigger than a Cadillac...how's yours holding up?)
Love: no longer a four letter word.  An update on the now famous, soon to be infamous, Occupy my Blog Movement on the move.

With the Occupy My Blog Movement taking off, reaching new heights of stardom and fame, I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all of my fellow occupiers for occupying my blog so consistently.  Together, we are changing the social, reality TV, political, hysterical, physiological, and mental landscape as we know it.  This is history in the making, folks, and for that congratulations are in order.  Keep up the good work!  We are all now famous.  Golden gods.  Movers and shakers.  Shaking up the status quo and reaching dizzying heights of prosperity and good fortune.

Which brings me to the next phase of this very important movement, a simple request: Occupy Your Heart on this Easter Sunday and Resurrect your Dreams.  Bring back old school and get back to our bohemian roots, Jesus & Jerry Garcia style.  It's what Jesus & Jerry would do on any given Sunday, let alone Easter Sunday.  Follow by example and follow in their footsteps.

Hearts, hearts hearts.  Plenty to go around.
I don't know about you, but sometimes I get so caught up in thinking logically, all tangled up in the mind, leading only to the inevitable point of over-analysis paralysis.  Rendering any next move useless and inconceivable.  With so many options available to us today, it's a wonder anyone can make any sort of decision at all.  From what to have for breakfast to what line of work to do, I don't really know how anyone can chart a course to greatness with any degree of certainty whatsoever.  At least when using only your head.  The heart probably needs to come into play at some point too, make a cameo appearance in order to determine if the path you're on is the one for you.  The way forward and not back.  The path to wisdom, knowledge, enlightenment, and good health while helping others to do the same.  The path to free society and peace on earth.  At some point, we have to stop chasing our own tails and figure out a way forward.  To a better future for you and me.

Whether we're choosing which university to attend or our next chess move, I'd like us all to simply add a little heart to the equation.  Occupy your heart, as well as your mind, and when both are on the same page, we'll know what we are doing is right.  Because you can analyze to death the pros and cons of using frozen peas and carrots as opposed to frozen cranberries to ice a sprained ankle, but won't get anywhere unless you know in your heart that cranberries are most certainly the way to go.

Our heart, my friends, may be the most underutilized organ in the human body.  Sure, it pumps blood throughout our system and without it, we would surely die.  What I'm saying is that we don't utilize it for other important purposes nearly enough.  How often do we think and think, ponder and weigh our options, over and over again, until we're drowning in a sea of opportunity without grabbing hold of a life jacket to keep us afloat?  How often have you sat down with a pen and paper, ready to list the pros and cons of meritocracy versus idiocracy in today's political system (note: that democracy was not part of that equation) only to realize that this exercise is entirely counterproductive to implementing your ideas for a new world order?  And was it really necessary to study each of Kleinfeld's 2,000 wedding dress options online until you're blue in the face?  I'm going to go with no.  But you're obviously entitled to your own opinion on the matter...to each his own, I suppose.

So I say, let's Occupy Our Hearts on this Easter Sunday and see the forest for the trees.  Focus on what's really important.  Paint a priority picture of our own and determine what it is we need to do.  Because when your heart, mind, body and spirit all say "YES", we will know that we are on the right track.  If there's something nagging at you, that doesn't seem quite right about your current situation, really take a look at it from a number of different angles.  Dig into the heart of the matter, and follow your god-given gut instincts regarding whether spiked heels could ever be successfully used as a weapon in the face of danger.  Whether perfume might be effectively utilized in fending off Paparazzi now following you around. Occupy your heart and know for sure that your canister of RAID can, in fact, be used to ward off a potential rapist (a dolphin, perhaps?  Still raping people FYI, but I digress).

When faced with major life decisions, it's easy to get caught up in what our parents would do (Say No), what our professors would do (pontificate), what our dog would do (take a nap most likely), what our bosses would do (call a meeting, for sure), what our love interest would do (kiss and make up), what KP would do (god only knows).  But you know what?  None of that really matters if it doesn't make you truly happy.  So what if you're inclined to dedicate your life to the preservation of rock candy and Twinkies?  If your heart gives it the nod, don't be so quick to put the kibosh on your dreams of owning a vineyard in Spain.  If your brother doesn't think that bedazzling easter eggs as a full time career is a viable option, but your heart and mind are giving the green light, I say go for it.  Because if our hearts are in our work, the better we will all be for it.
Someone once shared the following words of wisdom that seem appropriate in this context: "Shoot for the moon.  Even if you miss, you'll be among the stars."  Not to get all Pollyanna here but how true.  Because you don't get to reality TV by not auditioning.  By not letting your insanity shine through, for all the world to see...Gotta be in it to win it, as they say, in the parlence of our times.

So, let's kick off the next trend soon to be taking the nation by storm:  #askwhatjesusandjerrywoulddowhileoccupyingheartforcookingsacrificialchickentofollowdreamofworld dominationwithspikedheelsandRAIDasformsofprotection

Follow by example, Occupy Your Heart, and follow Jesus, Jerry, Madonna, Mother Theresa, Mother Mary, Mary Poppins, Mickey Mouse, Willy Wonka, as well as Smurfette, and follow your heart to fulfill your dreams.  Do this, and you too can be among the stars (Reality TV stars might be your thing too?  Pittsburgh Style Perhaps?  Never know until you try!).  Or quite possibly California stars  are your weapons of choice (over spiked heels and RAID).  They are most definitely WILCO's & Billy Bragg's.  Click below for more detail.

Because after all, we'll never really know if our plan B of sitting on a mountaintop to live out our remaining years in peace was better than A of entering the world of high finance in Manhattan while dabbling in random artistic endeavors on the side (while getting famous, of course).  So why worry about it?  Because even on a mountaintop, "Wherever you go, there you are".  Be there.  Embrace the here and now, Occupy Your Heart, Mind, Body & Soul on this Easter Sunday, and determine your next move.  Then go.

Do this and our love will certainly not fade away at any point in the forseeable future and quite possibly beyond.

Happy Occupying!  Over and out for now.  Further updates to follow.

That's right folks.  This too can be you.  KP, famous, barbie doll, wax figurine?  All three.
All that you see here can also be yours.  Her love's not fading away anytime soon either.
Getting married actually.  On reality TV?  Next reality TV idea = antichrist bride to be gets hitched, Ninja Style.
Got all that, MTV?
